They don’t teach the names he happens to know (and maybe like?) doesn’t mean what they DO teach is worthless.
In my major I was exposed to like 10% of the worthwhile names. You just don’t have time to read them all…that’s what Masters and Phd programs are for…
BTW, I think College is incredibly over priced, but that clip isn’t mind bending IMO.
Well it was not intended as a cerebral piece or a new discovery
It was more like classic Charlie Kirk.
He takes some basic factoids, or truisms to which many college kids have not been exposed, but should have been, (ex black-on-blakc crime, or what scientist actualy say about sea levels rising)
He patiently waits while the libs hypeventialte and embarass themselves
He never losoes hsi cool and just expalins and re-explains these things that either the kid knew and was denying, or did not know but (obviously) should have.
In this case the biggest difference was that the kid seemed to agree with him and was willing to accept that there is a hole in his knowledge
There are generations of writers to study for any particular major. Yes if we are serious about our majors, we read and investigate outside of our school “assignments”. And yes, stuff like that is likely not undergrad bachelor’s degree material. It is for masters and PhD studies.
An undergrad has holes in his knowledge? Say it ain’t so!
That’s my point. Pick any major, I promise you you can find 10-12 authors under represented in teh curriculum. That doesn’t prove the degree is a fraud.
We need to be careful. Saint Charlie cannot be questioned or criticized only adored. His words are now on a par with biblical scripture. Dispute his words at your risk
