California does it again!

The people are driving themselves out of the state. The people there vote for a concept, but don’t want to actually live it. So they’ll leave when it becomes too expensive.

Or maybe the wealthy will be the ones with the means to move, and everyone else is stuck with the Cal-amity.

We only bitch when they decide to move here and turn us into the ■■■■ hole state they left.

Under no circumstances is California a ■■■■ hole . It’s like you guys have never lived here.

Oh wait…

It’s because as a number of us have already noted @PurpnGold is a troll and not someone who engages in intellectually honest conversation. Out of the of the one side of his/her mouth ardently supports Dem politicians and their pie in the sky equity for all ■■■■■■■■ but then spouts this:

Has Jay Leno moved his car collection to Idaho yet?

Whatayatalkinabout? Everybody in California lives an above average lifestyle (and has above average good looks.) And they all drive electric cars so only the tourists will pay this tax.

That myth is even more editing than that Humphrey Bogart said “Play it again Sam” in Casablanca.

Better hurry. I hear they plan to tax the gas in your tank when you come across the State line.

What is intellectually dishonest about my post you quoted?

Every major social trend in the country starts in California, including income inequity.

They can turn themselves in to ICE and get a free ticket out of there … or at least a lot of them can.

Do you mean like food and housing?

In the meantime (and like since 1970) the gas tax in Alaska is 8 cents per gallon. :slightly_smiling_face:

I think I’d rather just deal with ■■■■ weather like I’ve been dealing with my entire life.

I cleaned out my car this afternoon and nearly died because of the heat and the crippling 100% humidity. But at least my mortgage is somewhat affordable.

Even my car wouldn’t really be doable in California with their fuel costs. And my engine has less air displacement capacity than a damn coke bottle (1.5 liters) and does 40-45 miles per gallon.

Yeah … and California is projected to lose another five Representatives in 2030.

That’s not how it works. People only move out of cesspools, not into them. But the sad part is, the people moving out bring the stink with them.

More like cancer than locusts. Things grow back when the locusts are done destroying an area.

Living in a ■■■■ hole as long you have, how would you know otherwise?
