California does it again!

First the fires. Then the riots. Now the taxes…Again.
California is punishing progressive voters for their stupidity yet again. a 65 cent gas tax increase will send gas prices to over 6 bucks a gallon. And the nitwits of California will continue to vote for this. And I’m lovin it. Enjoy folks!

Don’t worry, I will definitely enjoy the beautiful beaches, people and weather.

Thanks for the concern

Ah yes. The Old, BUT THE WEATHER!! excuse. As former resident of San Diego county, I am NOT worried! As I said, I love it! If you people want to vote for dipshiddery at every level, then by all means, DO IT! Isn’t that how cults are supposed to work? In the meantime, they will blow every penny of it on new debt. Which means of course, even more taxes.

Sorry but weather is only worth so much.

Certainly not the be all and end all in life.

About a third of the state is conservative and don’t want it.

I feel sorry for the ones who are “trapped” so to speak.

For instance i have an in-law out there who is in her late 70’s and stays because her children and grandchildren are there.

All these new taxes are hard on her as she is scrapping by now. Ugh.

Those who can move i urge them to get going.

What about those living at the bottom of the pay scale? Those living paycheck to paycheck. No concern for them I guess, as long as wealthy you gets to enjoy the beautiful beaches.

Is that a quote from Greasy Gavin and Karen Bass?

Maria Antoinette, the last queen of France. She was just as disconnected from her subjects as the wealth progressive are from the poor of California.

This isn’t a one time thing. I’m pretty sure they plan on raising gas prices .50 a year until people can’t afford to pay for gas. Pretty much forcing electric. Problem is, it’s not going to work. Should be interesting.

Been to CA. many times. Loved the state. Now I’m going to take one more trip to the redwood forest and be done with the state. Gas up before I enter the state.

I lived there for almost 5 years during my high school years. No one could pay me enough money to return.

Ironically, my heart belongs on the other left coast up in New England. But for now, I’m kind of tied to the blue state of Colorado to be with my wife’s family.

Exactly. All of these lying California libs who are constantly babbling about their compassion and love for the poor, just hammered them an enormous penalty. Lying, liars, who lie.

And there’s a 100 percent chance that they will blow all of that cash and have nothing to show for it but more debt. Then the voters will vote to do it again. Nitwits as far as the eye can see.

Yeah they made us read that book about the French revolution in high school.
:grinning:

Sure does sound like something Gavin and Bass would like to say too though.

Except in California, they actually elect their tyrants. Strange folks out there.

They have the option to move. California, for the most part, is not cheap.

I don’t agree with this tax either… I think it’s ridiculous.

So a whole state is now to be a haven for only the wealthy? Drive out the poor by excessive cost of living? Then who will mow your lawns and clean your houses?

It looks like everyone is happy. Californians get the higher taxes they voted for and Republicans in Idaho and Indiana and Louisiana get to bitch about it. Win/win.

Wow. Not a very compassionate thought. If you don’t like us gouging you and your family, pack up and leave? Pretty mean spirited.
