I feel so much better. If they can’t develop a vaccine that works, at least they can develop a strain that will kill most of us. That’s almost as good. And, of course, there’s no way something like that could escape from a lab.

On the plus side, the Texas State Fair may be a lot less crowded next year. On the negative, I might not get to see it.

For those who live in eastern states, that’s where Gypsy Moths came from. (A guy was cross-breeding silk moths for a better silk producer. A hurricane destroyed the greenhouses he was doing his work in, and the moths escaped.)

keepin it handy in case another dc outsider is elected

80% kill rate in mice? In people, the first Covid was only estimated by WHO to be 2.4% iirc. Turned out being much lower. This sounds like more pandilerim. Unleash it. Let’s put those vaccines to work.

Geez I remember driving along the PA Turnpike and both sides of the roadways were defoliated. A buddy of mine that did 18 months in Vietnam as a LRRP used to remark it looked like an Agent Orange spray!

To me, this is indeed treason. It’s a WMD. They will let it out…

Has Boston University been banned from Twitter for misinformation yet?

These people need to be in prison.

Why? This strain was developed to help find better vaccines for the possible new strains that might be coming our way. This research could save lives. That is why the study was approved by the Institutional Biosafety Committee.

Thread title…Boston University creates more lethal COVID

Question - WHY???

What possible reason could exist to do that?

There are articles that explain the study in more detail. Basically Covid can mutate by a shift in proteins. The study is about what protein shift can develop more lethal strains and then create vaccines to make them less deadly. .
