Were you a Bolton fan in the past? Are you changing to now Bolton is the enemy?

What will he do? He wonā€™t appear without being subpoenaed.

So you donā€™t expect Bolton to appear?

An enemy of an enemy.

Snidely Whiplash.

I donā€™t wonder what his opinion on the call was.
It indicated a divergence from the status quo foreign policy settings determined by the CIA, so it was disturbing to Bolton and is grounds for removing Trump and replacing him with someone who will do what s/heā€™s damn well told.

There is a disturbing notion promulgated by years of congressional deference that the president is the sole determiner of foreign policy. Trump had NO legal authority to withhold or delay the fundsā€¦ noneā€¦

That is patently false.

If I were to play along and agree with this premise then you have to drag Biden along too.

Going to be a LONG campaign season this time around.

:jack_o_lantern:

Why would anyone care what a never trumper, like John Bolton, has to say?

Care to cite what legal authority you think the president has to withhold aid?

Meanwhile the GOP is villianizing a decorated Iraq War Vetā€¦

Bolton is a chicken hawk deeply invested in keeping the military industrial complex busy, and he (IMO) is wrong about a whole host of issues from NK to Isreal, but I donā€™t think heā€™s a liar. And so his testimony will be interesting to say the least.

Doesnā€™t mean heā€™s a hero of mine.
