I don’t think this is a good thing.

On a side note. Has any issue John Oliver decided to make a push for resulted in a favourable result? Remember that whole Drumpft thing he did in 2016? Me either, I misspelled it. It was actually Drumpf. The point is, he failed at making that a thing, and Donald Trump got elected, and now this Bolsonaro thing didn’t work either. Good job Oliver. Good job.

How do you think John Oliver would describe Donald Trump to the world? I don’t know anything about Bolsonaro, but the source of information you are giving is about like warning that socialists are taking over with proof being a video from Infowars.

This is Brazil. 56% wanted him. The US has a tradition of separation of religion from the state. We aren’t in a moral position to tell every other place to be like here.
IF a mixture of religion and states bother you, start with many Moslem states.

I never heard of him until this thread. I just said I was not going to take Oliver as a source for learning about him. Do you pay attention before you start spouting?

You should do some research on a politician before you start defending them. Sometimes liberal comedians make fun of bad people. You don’t have to defend.

I did not defend. I said I was not willing to join your attack just because of Oliver, not a source I respect. And my “own source” as cynic calls it, was to go google and find the article on Wikilieaks, which says both good and bad about him.
You people are amazing.
He who doesn’t blindly join the shark attack based on nothing is defending.
