I have no problem thinking that someone has the wrong opinion on things.

As a Democrat I hate that this is happening and hope it is stopped. But on the other hand, the Republican Party of Reagan and Bush has already been taken over by the Nationalists. Unfortunately, in the near future I fear our only choice will be a Nationalist or a Socialist.

Not in my lifetime. The Democrats were never this close to Socialism. The Republicans were the opposite of Nationalist. They use to believe in the US have an active role in spreading Democracy.
