I didn’t say I liked the debt ceiling increase. Why did you assume that I do? What I did say, is that I liked the 1.6 trillion in cuts they just found. Something moved in the right direction.

The bill is very unpopular with Americans. And while popular opinion shouldn’t necessarily drive policy, this will surely have ramifications in the mid terms.

Which part of the bill is unpopular? Do people not like the idea of addressing Medicare/Medicaid fraud?
