Senate Republicans are nearing a vote to slash more than $1.6 trillion in government spending over a decade within President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful” bill
I didn’t say I liked the debt ceiling increase. Why did you assume that I do? What I did say, is that I liked the 1.6 trillion in cuts they just found. Something moved in the right direction.
The bill is very unpopular with Americans. And while popular opinion shouldn’t necessarily drive policy, this will surely have ramifications in the mid terms.
Taking Illegals of the Medicaid and kicking the able-bodies of it who don’t work must be the one thing they don’t like.
Another is not enough “tax-the-rich” nonsense in it, I bet.
Shummer is creating a delay in vote, ( Lord knows WHY if it’s gonna pass anyway), just to be mean . or stupid.
But that’s the Left for you.
