I don’t know if saying someone looks like a duck violates this rule. Does it matter if I’m bipartisan about it? Like Chelsea Clinton also looks like a duck.
It seems like it is more descriptive than an attack.
A 90% top marginal rate appears extreme but I don’t see any Democrat supporting that. Can you link to where Biden supports that?
Everything else you cite has clear-cut majority support in public opinion and is currently blocked my the way our structure enables the minority R party.
It’s a combination. His political stances are one thing, his character and history are another. He has already lost in one presidential primary. To some that makes him damaged good. He often comes across as disheveled/unkempt. His debate style ofter resorts to monotone yelling. He has been labeled a “socialist” (unfairly so) which can be hard to shake.
It is all of the things together, in my opinion, which would make it more difficult for him to be elected than someone who is seen as more moderate and more presidential.
Of the 1,875 women state legislators serving nationwide, 456 or 24.3% are women of color. They include 112 senators and 344 representatives; 429 are Democrats, 26 are Republicans and 1 is Progressive. Women of color constitute 6.2% of the total 7,383 state legislators (as of 12/31/18).
I’m slowly coming to the opinion that it shouldn’t be Biden. I was watching Maher’s show Friday and the point was made that Biden is the comfortable pair of broken in shoes, but those candidates don’t win. I’m not excited to vote for Biden, same as Hillary. I don’t want a third Obama term. I don’t have a candidate, i don’t really like any of these people. Last time I complained the primary was between Hillary and Bernie now it’s Biden and Bernie and a bunch of people I still don’t care about. This will be a fun election.
