Netanyahu is currently riding the wave of backing because of the ongoing war but the moment that ends he is going to have a lot of people including all his enemies and all his “friends” coming after him for not only failing Israel but also failing to accept responsibility.
That being said. It’s Israeli politics who knows where they are going to be
Who said quit? The article said “pause”. The pause, as stated, would allow for hostages/prisoners to be releases. No one except you said “quit”.
Secondly, you don’t seem to be terribly in tune with Netanyahu’s popularity with his own people. It was slim prior to this, it’s even worse now. A lot of Israelis are angry that this was even able to happen under his watch.
But here’s a prediction I’ll make. Last I heard there there were estimates of 10 to 20 or so American hostages held by Hamas. That is part of the reason Biden has called for the “pause”. But, should they be killed while held by Hamas, I’ve little doubt that the right will lay that at his feet.
Hamas already killed a bunch of Americans, but we can’t even call them terrorists here in the US. Don’t want to offend Rashida and the Palestinians living here.
I do think he does. That’s why I made the post in the first place. He’s asked for that pause to try and release hostages. When we’re finally able to determine how many Americans were killed in this, there’s no doubt in my mind you will lay it at his feet.
I’m going to link a story that discusses Ukraine not Israel, Iran, hezbollah and Hamas.
It’s by General Keith Kellogg, Vice President Pence’s national security advisor. This takes us back to 2019 when an American contractor was killed. One American, Hamas killed what 30, along with 1400+ Israelis…
“ Rocket attacks in northern Iraq killed an American contractor and moved the situation toward a major escalation. It was compounded on New Year’s Day when the White House Situation Room called and said the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad was under attack.”
“In the hours that followed, the president wanted to know who was behind these attacks. The intelligence community response was clear: Soleimani. Sitting in the Yellow Oval Room in the White House residence, the discussion moved to target him. Many thought it would be too hard to get to Soleimani and he would change any travel schedules. I said otherwise. I said arrogance and hubris would kill the Iranian general because he believed he was untouchable.
After listening to his advisers, Mr. Trump issued his order: Get Soleimani. It was super-escalation. The director of the CIA at the time, Gina Haspel, said it best: “Buckle up.”
“After Soleimani was killed, the Iranian leadership knew they had crossed a threshold and Supreme Leader Khamenei was next on the target list. This was proved days later when the Iranian Air Defense Force shot down a Ukrainian airliner leaving Tehran because they believed it was U.S. forces targeting Iran’s leadership. In the year that followed, Iranian and Iraqi proxy attacks were minimal.”
I cite this because it appears the blueprint has been laid out. Blow up a terrorist, let the leadership in Iran know it could be next, since Iran is the entity that funds the terrorists attacking Israel.
You know, a doctrine of strength not wussing your way around like the always wrong Joe Biden.
I’ve never served so I will always yield to the actual smart guys on this forum who’ve worn the uniform…but why I ask are we not giving the world’s worst terrorists something to worry about instead of bending over and grabbing the White House ankles to keep the girls in the squad happy?
Great story. How in the world have you come to this conclusion? Not sure if you follow daily news or not, but anyone who does would know that Biden is probably last on the squad’s list of BFF’s and he ain’t doing to well courting favor with American Muslims. Why? Because he’s done nothing but offer full support for Israel in their quest to eliminate Hamas.
I’d love to hear a rationalization for what you’ve posted here.
