Biden Announces Re-election Bid

So Trump wasn’t soo bad after all.

Especially for a newbie.

Like you one of my son in law’s is a Brit too.

So I know better than most what you mean.

He is an avid Labour Party so not surprising he will vote Democrat no matter what.

FYI, 2024 is his first American general election since becoming dual citizenship he can vote here.

My son-in-law’s father is a Tory, so whenever he visits in the USA it makes it extra ripe for a political debate.

The GOP even hinting Biden-as-bumbling-international-pariah? If Trump can shoot someone on Fifth Avenue, then Biden could ■■■■ in St. Paul’s Cathedral and still be more popular in the UK than 45:

Trump is an embarrassment to the country internationally. His love letters to Kim alone…

Come On, Man!

You notice wherever #46 goes there is little to no video and audio covering his caravans enroute?

I imagine thats by design. For example, the press rarely shows Biden out of controlled settings.

The reality is probable fear of poor photo optics.

After all, if Biden was as popular as is asserted by the left press, why isn’t there a lot more footage of supportive crowds?

Sadly concerns #46 is a laughing stock around the world are evident…

English etiquette doesn’t interest me much.

Who care? English etiquette stop mattering in 1776.

Not true at all.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::+1:t4:

It’s not “asserted by the left press.” Joe Biden is generally and statistically more popular abroad than Donald Trump by credible polling measures. This is what I mean by “arguing about reality.” There are other ways to make your case that, say, this fact doesn’t matter, or that of course effete Europeans don’t like Trump, or some other ■■■■■■■■■ Even this is pretty funny at least:

But the I reject reality and substitute it with Ben Garrison cartoons approach is embarrassing.

You think Trump is more popular abroad? I can be convinced.

Abroad is really important

I don’t know why you feel it matters.

As opposed to: internationally, globally, cosmically, galactically. Yes, let’s pick that fly ■■■■ from the ground pepper.

In Mexico, for example, Trump had just an 8% favorability rating in 2019 compared to 43% for Biden in Pew’s most recent survey.

From your link. Wonder why?

I brought it up in the context of his British visit.

BTW: Your “I don’t care” is a perfectly reasonable principle here. It doesn’t force anyone to pretend.

Your survey before or after the english visit?

Given that Biden’s kept some of the worst aspects of Trump’s immigration policy, it’s an interesting question. In any case, here we are.

I’ll tell you what: you look at polling after his visit, and if he’s less popular than Trump, you get the glory of claiming “VICTORY!”

Nothing wrong with a spicy political debate amongst family as long as everyone can part friends.
