Bernie Sanders is running in 2020

Scandanavia and Norway are true socialist countries’

No they are not. They are totally free market economies though they do support some form of welfare state, but the corporations have free reign they have a lower rate of taxes,. Corporate taxes are 21 percent for Sweden,. Way below the pre Trump tax corporate rate. The top 10 percent in the US own about 75% of wealth, sure, but top 10 %
of Scandinavians owe also between 65-69% of wealth almost the same… but besides that who pays more in taxes? .

In some ways, Sweden is now less progressive than the United States. Harvard professor Gregory Mankiw writes that the wealthiest decile of Swedes carries 26.7 percent of the tax burden. In The United States, the figure is a whopping 45.1 percent.

So the Wealthiest pay more in taxes in the US. There is no minimum wage in Sweden. There is school choice in Sweden. Sanders pointing to Sweden is fraudulent.
Denmark is not socialist.

In response to Americans frequently referring to his country as socialist, the prime minister of Denmark recently remarked in a lecture at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government,

I know that some people in the US associate the Nordic model with some sort of socialism. Therefore I would like to make one thing clear. Denmark is far from a socialist planned economy. Denmark is a market economy

Besides the above,
Sanders has long been a straight Socialist, he just recently termed it ‘Demoratic Socialism’ he has supported State control since his inception. He lauded the Soviet Union talked about how wonderful that repressive state was back in the 80s. He loved Fidel Castro lauded how wonderful they were, and Daniel Ortega back in the 80s, totally ignoring the Sabdinista repression. He supported Chavez and Maduro, so he has long supported straight Communists. He refuses to call Maduro who has repressed and starved his people with straight Socialism a dictator. Even Donna Shalala called him out on hiss refusal to call him a dictator, or support calling for his overthrow.

Here he says bread lines are good, here is a direct result of his socialist policies

That’s the worst kind of socialist!

That clever son of bitch.

He probably praised the Soviets shirtless.

The sabdinistas were the worst.

Chavez and Maduro!?

The leaders of those countries call themselves a market economy with a generous social net. Hardly socialism, but they do have socialist parties.

The sabdinistas were the worst.

If you look at the keyboard, n is right next to b.

Chavez and Maduro!?

Hugo Chavez, the guy who leftists flocked to in Venezuela, when they thought they got ‘Socialism’ the right way, and Bernie praised because of equality and they live the American dream.

Just like prior leftists of yesterday flocked to Chairman Mao, and Lenin and Stalin during their heyday. Bernie had his honeymoon in the Soviet Union in 1988 and talked lavishly about how wonderful the Soviets were, they had the kind of economic policy he liked. Back to Venezuela, yes, this is Ben Shapiro but he rightly notates how much the left loved Chavez, I guess you don’t know who he was?, Venezuelas leader, who began this descent into socialism that destroyed the middle class and led the descent into poverty:

It’s worth noting that the American Left praised both Chavez and Maduro for decades as halcyons of humanitarian redistributionism. As I noted at Breitbart at the time, when Chavez died in 2013, Rep. Jose Serrano (D-NY) called him “a leader that understood the needs to the poor. He was committed to empowering the powerless.” Former President Jimmy Carter praised Chavez’s “commitment to improving the lives of his fellow countrymen,” adding that he would “be remembered for his bold assertion of autonomy and independence for Latin American governments and for his formidable communications skills and personal connection with supporters in his country and abroad to whom he gave hope and empowerment.” Eugene Robinson of The Washington Post called Chavez “quick” and “popular.” Larry King called him “huggable.” The Associated Press called him a “fighter.” The Atlantic stated, “Passionate and charismatic, Chávez slipped comfortably into the role of romantic Latin American revolutionary, championing the poor against an unfeeling local oligarchy and its imperial paymasters….Today millions of Venezuelans will weep tears of genuine anguish at his passing.” ABC News and Univision said he was “revered by Venezuela’s poor, who considered him one of their own.” And The New York Times sounded off, of course, calling him a “dreamer with a common touch and enormous ambition” who “maintained an almost visceral connection with the poor.”

During his tenure, Chavez received praise from Oliver Stone and Noam Chomsky, from Danny Glover and Nobel prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz, who said, “Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez appears to have had success in bringing health and education to the people in the poor neighborhoods of Caracas, to those who previously saw few benefits of the countries oil wealth…. It is not only important to have sustainable growth, but to ensure the best distribution of economic growth, for the benefit of all citizens.”

The Left owns Venezuela.
