That’s simply not true. While local regions were still affected, the country got back on track by late 2012. Regardless even if we take 2014, things weren’t the end of the world doom and gloom. And then the best part was as President Trump did well, his numbers didn’t putshine that of Obama outside of the unemployment rate (which today is completely ignored lol) but we got terms like BOOMING economy…
It’s all drama for drama sakes… regardless of who is engaging in it.
The housing crises didn’t even begin to recover until 3.5 years after the collapse…it took almost 3 years later to normalize home building industry.
Romney lost Fla, Oh, Nevada, Iowa and even Pretty boy Ryan home state by slim margin. They were all winnable if Romney and pretty boy didn’t roll over.
And those are the facts.
If Obama was so popular and economy was doing great than why did he only picked up 6 house seats?
Rustbelt was ready for new leadership than. And losing Fla? State that was hit the hardest by the housing crises.
In Fla that primary against Newt…Romney spent 40 million in attack adds against Newt…I think that was the most in any state primary at the time…4 years later man name Jeb said hold my beer.
If Romney fought like that against Obama…Romney would have won. Timing was perfect to make Obama 1 term pres.
Not unless interest rates get a lot higher, which would cause a huge recession absent tax cuts to stimulate jobs. Probably have to end the Ukraine war as well.
Doesn’t matter if republicans take the house they will just use the executive branch and pass EO’s that supposed to be meant for congress aka college loan forgiveness.
Congress controls the purse ya right. Abusive EO’s from either party is the real threat to democracy.
