As Always, Socialism Impoverished Everyone

Cato? I knew you would post that.
Yes, we have more richer people than Sweden.

You seem to think those with more money are happier. You have swallowed that capitalistic pill.

No, you have not.

Typical, lazy response.

Should have done those other two years.

Money doesn’t buy happiness but oh heck never mind, yes it does. Money is the freedom to do the things you want to do. As far as CATO as a source, they cited the evidence.

Advocates for something they don’t even understand while staring its failure in the face.

There has to be a Latin term for that kind of ignorance.

Then why are there so many miserable rich people?

You keep going on on how Scandinavian style of capitalism, has failed, contrary to the current evidence.

Who is the one who does not understand?

Because people are stupid. Hoarding money doesn’t make you happy, turning it into pleasant experiences with friends and family does.

Once one’s basic needs are met, with maybe a few extras…“the happiness” factor is relatively the same for someone making $100k annually, and one making $500k annually.

Whatever…statements like this is why your post are not taken seriously.

Not at all. I look at the Scandinavia countries as Welfare States myself.

Those who have put forth their best efforts to make something of themselves including a good education and good paying jobs get the “heck” taxed out of them in those countries and that tax money gets redistributed to those who have not put forth their best efforts or in some cases no effort at all.

It is my firm opinion that this is why so many progs love the Scandinavian systems.

Many progs have not put forth their best efforts (again IMO) but desire the increased redistribution from those who have anyway…just like the Scandinavian countries.

Cool. Let’s do that.

Money buys happiness up to the point where any financial worries are minimal. After that it doesn’t do much. Around 120k a couple of years ago when the study was done.

Plenty of ■■■■■■ up rich people with really bad family dynamics though. I meet them regularly.

the issue with Venezuela isn’t nationalized programs, its that people at the top stole all the money.

And destroyed the economy. Totally.
