I was simply agreeing that the storage containers were a stunt. Simply throwing up an ineffective barrier costing millions of dollars isn’t really solving the problem. If you’ve been following me over the years, you would know that I’m for strong border security.
Where there is a will there is a way. Given the short span of the containers, my reading leads me to believe illegals simply went around them. If that is the case, I guess maybe tunnels wouldn’t make sense.
You have to ask yourself how many illegals were actually prevented from entering our country by those shipping containers. My reading leads me to believe that not a single illegal was deterred.
Well, I believe you win the award for most idiotic statement! 
My comment was more about the cost of those shipping containers. If they prove to be ineffective, is it really worth the cost of millions of dollars? And because I believe this particular action was a stunt (an expensive one at that) it doesn’t mean I’m for open borders.

If you were sincere about securing the southern border, I doubt you would reference an attempt to slow down the invasion taking place as a “stunt”. Or maybe it is, you are just trying to be cute on a subject which threatens the general welfare of the United States and her citizens?

It is an outright invasion of the United States, intentionally orchestrated and perpetuated by the leadership of our tyrannical federal government which includes traitorous, judges, legislators, and our current president of the United States.

Better yet, start exercising the States’ inherent authority to protect against an invasion by recruiting and arming a state citizen militia and send them to protect the border against an unwanted flood of foreign nationals crossing into AZ.

That’s like asking those who take the law into their own hands. There are right ways to address a problem and there are wrong ways to address a problem. The right way is to elect those who are committed to securing the border. The wrong way is to illegally stack a bunch of shipping containers that really did nothing to stem the flow of illegals crossing the border. The inevitable federal action to force them to remove the containers only shows the folly of attempting to take the law into your own hands.
In regard to my position, one only has to look at how I refer to them. DEMs and open border advocates refer to them as migrants. I refer to them as illegal aliens, as do most strong border advocates.
But that stacking of those containers was illegal and it did nothing to stem the tide of illegals. It sure made a lot of people feel good though.
Unfortunately, our gaslighting detractors chose to ignore that!

I don’t recall advocating for the opening of our border or for not enforcing our immigration laws? 
I’m not sure how exactly the illegal stacking of shipping containers across a short stretch of Arizona is remotely relevant, but hey! 
I don’t recall that post being in response to a post by yourself.
My point was we are addressing a side issue that shouldn’t even be an issue. It would not be if Biden were doing his job and protecting our border and enforcing our immigration laws as he took an oath to do.
Biden’s response should not be to sue Arizona but to assure them that they do not need to take action because he will do so himself.
This is like an argument over what steps a person should take because the county refuses to send an ambulance and you have an accident. The real issue is why is the county refusing to send an ambulance.

Not too crazy about the ambulance analogy. I believe the vigilante justice analogy might be more relevant.
But I don’t disagree that the Federal Government should do a better job of securing our border. Unfortunately, with a deeply divided Government that just isn’t going to happen anytime soon. In my opinion, the shipping containers were nothing more than a feel-good gesture, that had little practical value.
Your assumed devil’s advocacy seems to dilute and distract from the nefarious intentions of those working 24/7 to fill our country with millions upon millions of poverty-stricken, poorly educated, low skilled, diseased, disabled, and criminal foreign nationals.
