In any case, based on what little reading I’ve done, I don’t see that the containers really did much of anything to stem the tide of illegal crossings. I’m for a strong border, but I don’t believe those containers were effective. Without a concerted bi-partisan effort to spend some serious money on border security, nothing will change. And that is just fine with DEMs. More future voters for them.
