It’s gotten worse because of environmental nut jobs and poor forestry maintenance because when you don’t clear and burn off the brush that accumulates it’s like kindling and fuel for 
fire. The “weather” has nothing to do with it.

When I heard the news coverage, it was a bit overblown.
I know for some folks who have meds that need refrigeration, or medical devices that need power…was more than an inconvenience.
For the vast majority of us that was effected…it was an inconvenience.

I guess you don’t know that our worst fires are wild fires in chaparral, not in forests…or that most of our forested area is federal land.
