The bottom line in my opinion is, regardless of whether the Archbishopâs motivation was political or pastoral, excommunication is a patently religious action and thus is off limits to any government scrutiny of any type.

But you are right, only those who get abortions are in violation of the Canon.

Pelosi & Co. are desperate to accommodate an Âaggressive gender ideology that Âinsists âmanâ and âwomanâ are fuzzy, subjective categories, rather than biological ones.

That is the upside down reasoning of leftists. -------- Punish the innocent and reward the guilty. One is guilty, one is innocent. It is a mistake to confuse the two.
To say that capital punishment is uncivilized is to say the wisdom of humans is superior to heaven.
The civil government âbears the sword.â The sword was the instrument for killing. It is the earthly agent in avenging infractions of civil law.
