Apple removes Alex Jones and Infowars podcast from iTunes

"“I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it”

…back when people believed in free speech…

Meh, free speech is a prohibition against government suppressing speech, not twitter.

True, but we can clearly see the left’s support for free speech fad fast…

Alex Jones’s free speech has not been infringed upon in any way.

He just had his platform removed… Why does the left pretend?

Umm, his speech has been infringed upon, just not unconstitutionally.

Thanks bro… I was being facetious.

Oh, sorry.

What a crock. But I didn’t expect any less of you.

Hmmm, seems we’ve got some Jones fans here.

I’m shocked, shocked I say!!

That is not an infringement of free speech.

No one has a right to someone else’s platform.

Now if the platform that he owns was removed from him by the government… then that would be an infringement of his free speech.

Don’t you support the censoring of infowars, aren’t you a leftist?

HIS platform?

Do tell.

Just read the news…

YouTube, Twitter… etc are private companies.

They are in no way obligated to host content that they don’t want to host.

Maybe what he supports is the right of private businesses to decide whether or not they want to offer a platform for Jones.

and you are happy he was censored…

But you support him being censored…

I support the ability of businesses to decide what can potentially hurt them and take action against it.
Same reason why tOSU fired their assistant football coach recently who was a domestic violence abuser.

No I’m not a leftist, I’m a moderate.

So don’t do business with them or utilize their services, that’s your remedy.
