Another double standard?

One of the finer points of Title 10. I doubt he, as a 3 star, held a reserve commission. But to @WuWei 's point, she isn’t a government official.

I doubt it also just wanted to clarify.

Many people had mentioned that earlier in thread.

Rules for Commissioned Officers have some quirks that us enlisted folks don’t have under Title 10.

Where does it say he is my boss?

We hire the president, we pay him and we can fire him after 4 years.

Yes and….

Yep used to be some great perks to the Regular commission. Sometime in the last 90’s they got rid of the perks and kept the worst parts ie the stuff talked about here. I refused the regular commission when I was a Major, my commander was not happy but understood. Military shot themselves in foot again.

They seem to be doing that a lot lately.

And, we are the boss…

If you want a different form of government, consider Russia or China.

Not over the general we are not. Biden is.

We are discussing a constitutional form of government. You may want to read it sometimes. Just for funzies

We were talking about the General. But you know that…you’re just trying to back pedal…

The general is retired.

Already covered…

The general entered into a contract with the federal government.

When you are representing the Uniform of the military, you cannot have political opinions. This is spelled out in the UCMJ and various military rules and regs.

Military need to be politically neutral, and it’s for obvious reasons.

And? The government is forbidden to punish people for speech.

When it acts as an employer? Are you sure?

Yes, ample precedent. See the links to cases I posted earlier in the thread.
