It’s just an expression, but surely after reading that statue you have an opinion as to whether or not Target may have been in violation of it. The AG was doing them a favor warning the managers of what their own lawyers should have looked at prior to putting the questionable merchandise on their racks.
The AG has no obligation to tell you anything. This ball is now in Target’s court to determine their next play.
