Do what? They investigated Trump and the campaign and the dossier. Even at the time that the Mueller probe was set up, Page was still admitting that they had no evidence of collusion by Trump.
You have to find support for that dossier or some other basis for alleging collusion by Trump before you do anything.
Otherwise, if you come out and say you suspect Trump but have no evidence, you are just not going to look legitimate.
As they haven’t to this day.

The part I find confusing is how such sleuths can put together a seemingly air tight case exposing the ‘deep state’ and can’t seem to make any sense of the indictments and convictions Mueller has made public beyond “witch hunt”.
