An Arizona County’s Refusal to Certify Election Results Could Cost GOP a House Seat

Calling people out on their bull ■■■■ is not mocking them.

And that is why you should be ashamed of yourself. You falsely assert millions of American citizens who are upset over voter irregularities are election deniers.

And, speaking of election deniers see:

Our socialist revolutionaries are known for accusing others of what they themselves are guilty of.

welp, an Arizona Judge (who was appointee in 2018 by republican Governor Doug Ducey) seems to have had enough of the unfounded election conspiracy shenanigans has ordered Cochise County to certify their vote canvass.

Remember children, there is a huge difference between questioning voter irregularities with real evidence that back up the accusations and questioning voter irregularities simply because one is a) too stupid to know how elections work, or b) throwing a tantrum because someone on their team lost.

They just voted to certify.

So, good news for GOP; they won’t be losing that seat after all.

Just wanna pull this out to high light it.

No deflection.

That had concerns.

No one prevented them from voicing those concerns.

The concerns were answered…so that they are still doing this is all theatre.

And so therefore if the GOP pays the price for it…good.

Oh crap.

I was hoping they’d stick it out.

Of course, now they can claim they were coerced even though all they were doing was “asking questions”.

Probably the potential prison time for contempt of court dissuaded them.

Like I edited to add…now they can claim to the stupid that they were “coerced into certifying”.

I’m not exactly keen on a judge being able to “order” someone to certify something. But had they continued consequences would have been justified politically.

The judge can go suck an egg. He doesn’t have the authority to order the board to certify an election. The nitwitted judge ignores our separation of powers system of government.

A judge cant order the executive branch to act in a manner that’s in compliance with laws?

Fascinating.

Actually they do have the authority to order government officials to perform their duty it’s called a Writ of Mandamus.

Once the court orders it, then the individual has two choices:

  • Continue to refuse and play around with criminal contempt of court charges, or
  • Resign.

Umm, no. They still think Russia stole the election.

Your presumption is they are not doing their duty.

Like I said… Give us an example of a democrat, holding up election certification even after their questions have been answered.

Give us an example of a democratic politician, who lost an election, never gave a concession speech, and or sued to try and block certification.

Take your time… we will wait.

Democrats denying the 2016 election are stupid. However, they are doing is grousing after the fact.

The other poster was right… The difference is the scale. And the fact that a section of the GOP is now normalizing this as a tactic.

To the MAGA faction, the prevailing procedure is to say they never lose… They are only cheated out of victories.

That doesn’t change the fact that he has the power to do so despite you asserting otherwise.

You have to realize that this particular poster is the prevailing expert in the country on the law. So, if judges or officials do something he doesn’t agree with, obviously they are wrong and he is right.
