Elections deniers are the biggest retards in the land, be they Republican or Democrat.
But THESE particular election deniers are indeed retards among retards.
If they refuse to certify by December 8th, Republican will both lose a Congressional seat and the Office of State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
And frankly, they DESERVE to lose both offices if this obstruction continues.
STUPIDITY SHOULD BE EXTREMELY PAINFUL.
The 2020 election was free and fair and all winners of all offices were fairly and legally elected.
Ditto for 2022.
Election deniers are liars and morons.
All their theories and stupidity have been repeatedly debunked.
So go ahead.
■■■■ your own party over.
And basically ■■■■ your own county’s voters over.
Just demonstrates that your IQs are under 70.
I am LONG past the point of being civil about election denial stupidity, regardless of whether it is Republicans or Democrats (such as Stacey Abrams).
And I am proud to see that Republicans who fully accepted the 2020 election results substantially outperformed Republican election deniers in the 2022 elections.
Well they COULD have just filed a lawsuit if they thought they had a concern.
That would be the legal way to challenge a “perceived” impropriety, without screwing your own constituents and your own political party over in the process.
Of course these things can and should be questioned. But there needs to be some kind of real evidence, and not simply stating there was fraud. Look at all the lawsuits brought with no credible evidence. How many have been won by election deniers/
Hopefully the courts will fix this if that board will not perform their duty. Whereas I have little sympathy for the board members if they want to shoot themselves in the foot, they have an obligation to not shoot the voters in the county in the foot.
So “certification” actually means nothing. Just go through the mechanical functions, ignore any irregularities and do it. That’s your duty. Good to know that’s how certification works. Makes perfect sense.
