American students are being kicked out of their school to house migrants!

Oh I did and it was rough.

But we’re talking about 2 days so that fellow men and women don’t have to be out in the ravaging wind and down pouring rain.

Maybe this is a regional thing? Are you guys aware of the storm that just rolled up the coast?

human beings deserve to be safe. they would not be in tents during the storm last night.

hard stop.

Allan

Unless they are American children. Then they can be pushed aside for those here illegally (read criminals)

How is remote learning unsafe?

Why should illegal aliens take priority over American children?

have you no compassion for people in tents during a storm?

i guess not.

Allan

Did they live in tents where they came from?
And if so then they should go back. Maybe the weather isn’t so “harsh” :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
But that won’t happen, having someone else pay for food, lodging and medical care is too much to pass up doncha think?

Exactly, we didn’t tell these phony asylum seekers to come here. If they don’t like their accommodations they could freely leave.

How is that good lesson?

They’re being taught that the school administration doesn’t give a ■■■■ about them. Instead we will support the new proletariat.

Here’s one psychiatric opinion. There’s plenty more

Not when they aren’t supposed to be here in the first place.

And that’s the issue.

Not all life is equal.

When it comes to American institution an American is supposed to come first and foremost.

The asylum system is broken. It’s a ■■■■■■■ mess.

None of these people have a valid asylum claim. Last time I checked there wasn’t some huge war going on in Latin America.

Well those residents would be American citizens. That’s the difference.

Hey does anyone know the difference between an asylum seeker and someone here illegally? The one shouts “asylum seeker”!

I’ll say it. ■■■■ them.

They wanted to come here under questionable circumstances. I have absolutely zero pity for them.

Winter back home where they’re from is very mild.

By comparison American homeless, of which there are millions, are dealing with it. What makes these “asylums” more important?

Maybe the residents of N.Y. should chose wisely when they vote next time? Maybe not.

So for two days they are going to suffer ill effects. Bollocks.

Remote learning is now used in many schools in lieu of snow days or other adverse weather impacts that result in the closure of the school.

No matter how you spin it, a few days remote learning will not have a negative impact on students

To be fair asylum is not just for war victims. But I agree not everyone who is claiming asylum are genuine asylum seekers.

Do you not care about our children’s safety and education?
