When has Trump ever cared what the media says? When they speak, he pretty much just yells āFAKE NEWS!!!ā and moves on.
Iām not going to say they have malicious motivesā¦I think the media sure as hell does.
As I said, the economy was going to take serious hit regardless what we do. Whether it is short term or long term impact it was going to happen one way or another.
But just as you complain about democrat governor you have those on left doing the exact same thing to the president.
Donāt become a political advisor, JJ.
So your claim is that Donald Trump could not stand up to the press on the matter of firing Dr. Fauci. Trump routinely kicks the presses collective butt.
No, I didnāt say that at all.
Fauci had gravitas and academic standing and was already enlisted when his advice started to economically scuttle the US economy. But Trump has no medical expertise to āknowā whether Fauciās medical projections were sound or not. To overrule Fauci would make him singly responsible for the deaths that followed. Even if they were ultimately fewer than what we have seen, the press would argue they were more than would have occurred had he followed Fauci. Until evidence of incompetence or disingenuity on Fauciās part, he had no reason to replace him. For all Trump knew, Fauci could have been right, and Trumpās feelings inaccurate. Wisely, he gave the reins to Fauci, but monitored the results and adapted the policy according to developing data.

So waitā¦Trump doesnāt have the knowledge to go against Fauciās guidelines, but the āDem governorsā SHOULD have this knowledge?
And so even though they by and large are following Fauciās guidelines, theyāre to blame but the Presidentā¦who btw is also still supporting those guidelinesā¦is not?

We have five months of worldwide pandemic data now and relevant scientific commentary from many angles, which allows governors to make decisions that donāt necessarily agree with Fauci, but have alternative scientific, economic and medical expertise to support them.

What an insult to Trump ā who has made clear that has a very big brain. And at the CDC Trump announced he has a gift for understanding diseases.
Besides, any good leader knows that you listen to multiple experts, a variety of opinions and strive to build consensus. Your saying Trump heard one guy and decided to give him the rope to hang himself.
Your very low opinion of Donald Trump is showing all over this.
Actually 3 IMO, Feb, March and April. Anything before that canāt be trusted.

The party of self responsibilityWell, to be fair, there are still elements within the Republican party that try to pass it of as conservative, when it is pretty apparent that they have now completely sold out conservatism, thrown it under the bus, ran over it, and then backed over it a couple of times just to make sure it was gone.
Amazing the opinions that come from the left concerning the party.
Amazing what some consider āthe left.ā And quite telling.
Yeah I know, you are a true conservative.

So does the Presidentā¦and he is still supporting the guidelines laid out by Dr. Fauci.
Not being a Liberal doesnāt seem to stop you from making statements about āwhat Liberals believeā and āthe status of their partyā.
Or making statements that they are āout to destroy the economy to get Trump out of the White Houseā.
So does the Presidentā¦and he is still supporting the guidelines laid out by Dr. Fauci.
But he is leaving it up to governors to get informed and make their own decisions and bear the political consequences of their decisions. Fauci is not getting it all his own way anymore.

Poor President Trump.
Fauci got to be in control for a whileā¦ and now the Governors are in control.
And there sits Trump, in the most powerful office in the worldā¦ doing what exactly while he lets everyone else be in charge?

Of course youāre right. I admit Iām ā ā ā ā ā ā ā pissed but not at anyone in particular. Maybe its all the students hanging on by a thread and maybe itās cabin fever. But I mean it when I say I believe the left won.
The left won what?
The left won what?
2020 election
JayJay:The left won what?
2020 election
The left could lose a one car race, so they better not be counting on that.

Heās playing politicsā¦which according to Paul seems to be one characteristic of great leadership.
trump doesnāt have this five months of worldwide pandemic data?
Him having access and him having the data are two completely different things.
