Tyson closed a plant and moved those jobs to other plants. They are still processing the same amount of beef.

You claim to be a rancher yet support imported beef? Odd.
Beef prices went up because the cow market went up because of a shortage of cattle. Which was caused by many ranchers selling off cows in the past few years because of lack of pasture because of lack of rain. It occurs all the time.
