Hmm mixed feelings on this. Amazon have some cracking shows but they also have a fair number of duds
Amazon has said in the past they want to tap more into the Bond universe for spin offs etc

Why not? Amazon have their share of failures but they also have some great successes.
The Boys is the best superhero show out there. Definitely not Stan Lees Marvel Universe

And they did a great job in rescuing The Expanse when sci-fi cancelled the show.
I am sure in their spin offs you will see some female leads but hey if they want a Bondverse they are going to have to get creative
There is already a Jane Bond from the British 1960s comic Princess Tina.
IPC was the UK equivalent of DC/ Marvel and Rebellion (they also make video games) a few years ago purchased their entire back catalogue. I am a sucker for all their reprints.

Well that remains to be seen. Give them the chance to make a movie first.
Plenty of what Amazon does is not woke or DEI driven. Some great quality content but yes they have duds as well.
Citadel was a variation on the James Bond spy movies which I quite enjoyed. Though I suspect they will abandon this IP now they have Bond.
I subscribe to Amazon Prime, and I have watched a lot of their content.
Same here, i have a love for crappy sci-fi films that look like a couple of friends have got to gether with an iphone to make a film .
If you like Horror, then take a gander at From. Nothing woke about that show.

But anyway, I have zero faith in them doing anything but ruining Bond (coming from a guy who stopped liking it not long after Golden Eye).
I like The Boys overall, but that woke â– â– â– â– is permeated throughout the whole thing. LoTR is dead. The Tick got cancelled. The Expanse remains incomplete. Amazon sucks.
Having watched a few episodes of Ring of Power, I say they are going to bomb this â– â– â– â– â– Bond will look like Nagasaki on August 9th 1945 after they are done with it.
I heard The Expanse could be picked up by Netflix.
As for The Boys, some of what Kripke does is just to piss people off to get people talking about it. Though the last season did at times lean too heavily into current politics.
So yes I was wrong about that show not have any woke elements. But it also has Stormfront who maybe is a hardcore Nazi but my god she is a hot nazi and gives me the horn . I am sure I could overlook my revulsion of her politics for a an hour or two
I know I am in the minority but I actually liked Rings of Power. Then again I also enjoyed The Wheel of Time.
Carnival Row was brilliant but cancelled too soon. Fantastic world building.
I thought he died.
Maybe they will make a prequel, showing how he grew up, got lost in Jerusalem for 3 days, crafted living birds out of clay to amaze his friends, learned carpentry from his dad…

Bond died, but the 007 designation lives on. My fear is that it will be filled by a woke gay or transgender character.
I simply have lost interest in the franchise.
