Unless there is time travel technology that can go back and change an article from 2018 that shows that the NYT got the data from a group of researchers that had no affiliation to the Clinton Campaign.
You have to understand some people really invested all their DNA in Collusion Delusion and Trump being Different. They’ll probably never process the emotional damage.

And no amount of it that the Left cannot simply ignore. Keep in mind this is from the same time frame when the DNC, Clinton campaign and Hillary were illegally coordinating with political action committees and PV got some of those to brag about their personal knowledge of it all on camera. There were crickets from the Left over that just as they’re still trying to sweep this under the rug.

Yeah it’s all just a great big coincidence that the people the clinton campaign hired ended up with the same data that the nyt had, and that the only guy (sussman) who was working on the “secret project” (according to testimony from seago and elias btw) just happened to know the top lawyer at the fbi who instantly compartmentalized this info and got an official investigation started.
And the same guy (sussman) was busy instructing media leaks through fusion (but not this one to the nyt.) And yet he was able to convince the fbi to convince the nyt not to run a story they had “been sitting on for a month.”
Who do you think you’re fooling??

And I’ll add this. If the hillary campaign and dnc weren’t paying perkins coie and elias/sussman for the “alfa hoax”, “dossier hoax”, “collusion hoax”, then I don’t know what they were paying them for, because it seems that’s all they were doing.

Joffe was approached by the researchers with the info. Not the other way around. Even Durham agrees with this.
The Clinton campaign did not create this data. They got it and passed it on the press to look into. That isn’t illegal.
Sussmann got it from Joffe and passed it to the FBI. His actions effectively killed the NYT story for at least a month.
Mook has testified under oath that he had no idea who Sussmann even was.
It is getting harder and harder to show some grand conspiracy here… even harder to show that the Clinton Campaign did anything illegal.
Elias testified that he never authorized Sussmann to go to the FBI on behalf of the campaign and he thought it was a bad idea to do so since he didn’t trust the FBI.
Remember. This whole trial is about if Sussman was acting under the direction of the Clinton Campaign or of Joffe.
It is looking like Durham might not be able to prove that.
So if he is unable to do that… what does that mean for the rest of the conspiracy?

He may not have known who Sussman was, but he was familiar with the firm Sussman worked for…in fact the Hillary campaign was paying his salary…to do what he was doing at the FBI. Unless you buy that Sussman really was just a concerned citizen.

So far we have Mook not knowing whe Sussmann was, Elias saying that he didn’t authorize Sussman going to the FBI. Baker giving conflicting testimony.
And remember. This trial isn’t about the veracity of the data… or whether or not it was illegal to pass it along.
It is about whether or not Sussmann lied about if he was representing a client.
So far, you have two witnesses saying that he did it on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the sole witness of the crime giving conflicting testimony.
