I have no problem letting the dumb people of Alabama give their hard earned money to a project that will never happen.
It is revenue.
In one of your “contrary just to be contrary” modes I see.
Actually, I know why you are “insisting” that it’s revenue…but it’s not.
My father-in-law is the biggest contrarian that I’ve ever met in real life. I could go to his house today, tell him that I’m upgrading to windows 10 because windows 7 extended support ends in January of 2020 and he would argue with me about the date for an hour.
So how do I deal with him? I just don’t talk to him much.
Ok…why not? Let them throw their money away…
Well, now we are finding out that Mexicans in TJ are building walls/fences around their houses and the United States is paying for it.
I’m trying to think of the past Republican presidents or Republican presidential candidates that would have pushed for a wall.
Only one I can come up with is George Wallace (Mississippi). Somebody help me out and add others to the list. Maybe having a list of 4 or 5 faces that we can combine together will give us an idea of where we are as a country.
Wallace was from Alabama, not Mississippi.
“I’m gonna build a wall and Atlantis is going to pay for it!!!”
I have no problem with people spending their tax refund on whatever grifting scheme they want.
Five bucks says there are Alabamians who donated money to Nixon, Trump, Moore, Zimmerman and will now give $$ to Wall, Inc.
Ten bucks says this guy collects $500k, with $480k going towards “administrative costs”.

It is happening.

They probably think they’re gonna mix their money with all the money from Mexico and get a wall from ocean to Texas.
Of course it is. It was collected by the Internal REVENUE Service.
