Pure speculation at this point, but rumor mill going that the leader of the Islamic State has been gotten in a US military operation in Syria. Trump is planning an AM announcement.

Considering that Trump generally seems to do nothing work-related on the weekends, for him to have an announcement Sunday AM (conveniently in time for the Sunday talk show press) makes it seem believable Baghdadi is a goner.
I am not going to play politics on this. Our military deserves 100 percent the credit. They are not recognized enough for what they do.
