True story, conjure up an impeachment proceeding, contrary to your leadership’s wishes, presume an impeachable offense, then try to get more press on your fake impeachment by shaming the president into appearing when it in no way benefits him.

Trump has continually Complained no thats too kind, he has whined like a Spoilt little kid about not being given an opportunity to participate. Now when he has the chance everything goes quiet.
Though when they do decide to take part I expect to see more mental gymnastics from his supporters saying why he has made the right choice.

Couldn’t Shiff have pushed the courts to rule on getting witnesses? Waiting to complete his part before sending this thru another committee could have solved his witness issues. Unless they’re hurrying timelines for some reason…
They dont have to. The process via the courts is already going fast enough ( for court time )
The dems can call on those they need and Robert’s can rule right then and there if they need to testify. No scotus needed.
Now a senator can block it and then it goes to majority vote. They are limited in the number of times they can block and I forget why you just need 12 senators for something.
Regardless there is nothing going on that’s against the rules. Nothing.

Drama belongs to the left. This whole breathless impeachment has been nothing but drama. As for Trump or White House council participating, why give them the attention they do desperately need? This thing is fizzling out on its own.
