No, he testified he ~THINKS~ the president did. He did not offer any type of evidice of the crime other than he thought the president did.

Apparently the dems are feeling the heat. Most have lost patience for investigations as well. They are meeting at 9 am tomorrow to discuss whether or not to proceed with impeachment.

According to the Oversight Committee, it believes that the requested
records will aid its consideration of strengthening ethics and disclosure laws, as well as amending the penalties for violating such laws. The Committee also says that the records will assist in monitoring the President’s compliance with the Foreign Emoluments Clauses. These are facially valid legislative purposes, and it is not for the court to question whether the Committee’s actions are truly motivated by political considerations. Accordingly, the court will enter judgment in favor
of the Oversight Committee.

Did you just forget about the multiple investigations you’re complaining about in this very thread? Currently the House Intelligence Committee, House Judiciary Committee, House Oversight Committee, House Financial Services & House Ways and Means Committee are all conducting investigations and we’re suppose to be frustrated that they’re not doing anything about it? Seriously?

I think what we’re seeing is expected isn’t it? Trump supporters know, and have always known, that if investigators ever get to his money trail he’s in trouble. He’s just not a clean dude.

The real question is did he have his under bosses do all the dirty work to keep his own hands clean.

We have for the first time a (supposed) billionaire POTUS who has only been minimally forthcoming with his financial information. He has had documented financial ties to numerous Russians. He has ties to Deutche Bank which has a reputation for Russian money laundering. His performance at Helsinki was, to say the least, baffling.
There may be no “crime” per IRS rules, but I for one would like to know if our President is financially beholden to foreign actors when he makes certain policy decisions like lifting sanctions on Russian oligarchs.
Shouldn’t we all want to know this kind of stuff regardless who the President is?

Apparently the position of the Obama judge is that he should ignore the reality of the situation and defer to Congress, even if he knows they are lying about their intent. Sort of a new meaning to “justice is blind”.
Well, it took three years for them to finally rule in favor of Congress over Holder in Fast and Furious, so let the appeals begin.

I’m still taking bets on whether this is overturned at the appellate level or the Supreme Court. Name your stakes and let’s get it on record.

Yes. If they are going to investigate like this then they need to start up impeachment articles so we can see what the impeachment is about.

Yes. They have nothing so they are running a political fishing expedition. This sets a precedence for the moment a President is elected from a party different from the House, the Congress starts an in depth investigation of everything in that President’s past in the wild hope that maybe somewhere he did something illegal or at least politically embarrassing. Not a good direction to go.
I mean failing cooperation with Russia they have jumped immediately to his finances. It should be obvious what they are playing.
