That’s fine, but what about rehabilitation/reintegration?
Personally I would like to see mandatory rehab for drug addicts rather than prison, but for long enough to actually rehab them completely. Too many times its 2 weeks & out. Not often nearly long enough.
Either that or legalize drugs. The war on drugs never worked. Still not. The only way is to either make it all legal, or put the death penalty for selling drugs. Anything else will just be status quo, no end of the “war on drugs” with sky high drugs prices with addicts stealing to stay supplied.
