A 'Golden' Opportunity For Liberals

Where does Glassdoor get their information?

That sounds like wage compression. What’s the solution?

Seems foolish as FF is going to be replacing workers with technology.

Once again leftist programs actually damage the people they claim they want to help.

Don’t we want people making more money? If someone leaves at $15 hr job for a $20, that’s great! That’s an extra $850ish a month gross for full time.

From co-pilot (Dam you @Gaius :grinning::grinning::grinning:).

This article seems to be focusing more on the poor pay in the California School Food sector. It really is to early to say with any degree of accuracy that in the last few weeks thousands of school food workers are leaving because of the fast food increase. It also bizarrely has quotes and information from other states.

Interesting that Newsom has not addressed low pay in schools.

Until the 20 dollar job gets replaced by an ordering kiosk.

That is capitalism.

:joy::rofl:

Ok we can all see now what you know about capitalism which is nada, bupkis, nothing

Minimum wage laws have nothing to do with capitalism and everything to do with socialism.

You said “replaced by ordering kiosks”

That’s capitalism

Doesn’t answer my question.

Before they are replaced by kiosks it was…?

Capitalism

No.

Just another example of what leftists do when they try to implement their socialist policies

Seems like an an irrelevancey then.

What should they be paid? Like an actual amount.

The funny thing is that minimum wage laws curb labor unionizing.

We can see the union labor efforts in this sector in the past few years because the minimum wage has not been able to keep up with the needs of labor.

Nor was it ever intended to.

Then dont be so vague with your question.

The question wasn’t vague.
