Yes, the context of the video is not clear.
If a similar incident involved young white guys as apparent aggressors, it would be running 24/7 on mainstream media outlets. Instead the video is ignored. It does not fit into the narrative that “white supremacists” are the ones responsible for anti-Asian attacks.

A security guard for a TV news crew was killed during an apparent robbery attempt in Oakland.
Eyewitnesses speaking with KPIX, and who did not want to be identified, said a gang of armed robbers pulled up to the TV crew and ordered them and the guard to get on the ground.
The witnesses said shots were fired moments later and the guard was hit.
Authorities said the guard was hit in the stomach by the bullet and the robbers fled the scene.
My observation is that if the attackers were white, the media would be spinning the attack as an anti-Asian hate crime. The lack of descriptions of the attackers is a dog not barking.
