I want to be very fair to Allen. Therefore I m going to try to be very careful on explaining my words.
This thread has featured several posts by him saying he was owed an apology…several others defending BLM and his active participation in protests.
He and I differ completely in our view if BLM. He sees it as a civil rights organization…I see a group of criminals. He’s not going to change my mind…I m not going to change his.
The entire post you responded to was a plea by me to Allen not to lump himself in with that organization…my use of the word “y’all” might well have not been the best choice since I m sure Allen has not been violent and I respect him for that…but the entire scenario since George Floyd has led to significant violence and I stand by my point that the activists who burned and looted all over the country destroyed whatever good will may have existed when all of America, including me, was united that what happened to Floyd was wrong.
I have edited the post you were bothered by and for that wording if Allen thinks he is owed an apology he will receive one.
The riots are being up played? So are police shootings. Even if justified its brought forward as something else should have been done by the officer. And with every shooting the person kis shown to be a scum bag an not a hero EVER.
An even smaller percentage of people are killed every year in mass shootings, but that hasn’t stopped the libs from demonizing gun owners and the NRA and attempting to pass legislation intended to weaken the 2nd Amendment.
Yet the libs think that millions of dollars of property damage, injuries and killings by ONLY seven percent of protesters is OK.
