4th ranking democratic loses primary

Yeah that was Tim Ryan I was thinking of. Either way democrats kept Pelosi in over a moderate.

perhaps but even then it would be irrelevant, there is a reason Pelosi has at the head of the Dem house for as long as she had and its not because she makes great cookies.

Yeah Tim Ryan is who I was thinking of

Trump + tarrifs + over heated market + raising fed interest rate hikes + over cooked housing market = recession or worse. Its bound to happen Iā€™d be surprised if it doesnā€™t in the next 18 months.

Democrats should be wary of this. It plays into the hands of the Republican fear of socialism. Thatā€™s a heck of a, ā€œget out the voteā€ motivator.

It would work for me. I would actively work against her and Iā€™m not beholden to party, only principle.

Hilarious tweet from Trump suggesting Crowley was defeated tonight because he wasnā€™t sufficiently nice and respectful towards Trump.

Yeah, Iā€™m sure in a very deep blue district whicn just nominated an openly socialist candidate that the voters there were angry their Congressman was not kissing Trumpā€™s behind.

What a total lack of self awareness. :joy:

Yeah, eventually. And of course the huge, huge debt bubble.

Oh right, he was a moderate who ran for Pelosiā€™s job a couple of years ago.

Your common everyday republican has absolutely no concept nor understanding of what socialism actually is much less itā€™s actual effect on an economic market. Hell most of them actually think the US economy is a full on capitalistic market where a free market system always trumps. Guess no one told them the truth and if they did they foolishly didnā€™t believe it.

At least you know what is coming. Sadly we both know what is going to happen, the Trumptards are going to blame it on everyone except where it belongs. They will twist themselves into every knot they can trying to explain how their point of view wasnā€™t wrong and if the world was perfect everything would happen exactly the way they believe.

P.S No one gives a ā– ā– ā– ā–  about the debt, itā€™s nothing but a talking point. Not even the tea party or the freedom caucas. They would gladly sell that part of their soul to get a piece of legislation passed to advance any other part of their agenda. It isnā€™t about sticking to principals in total with any of these groups. Itā€™s about using leverage to gain small parts one at a time.

True. To most Republicans, socialism is less an ideology and more of a boogieman.

Truth be told they love socialism, but only when it is a benefits them. But as a point out earlier most donā€™t even know what actual socialism is. They have no concept of the means of production much less its construct. But they will gladly us it as a political tool.

Top three House Dems.

Pelosi 78 years old
Hoyer 79
Clyburn 77

Moderate left Democrat leader booted by supporter of socialized medicine and open borders. Democrats are going to do the same thing in selecting the next Presidential nominee and assure that Trump is an eight year President.

The common commentary is that the Dem primaries are a referendum between ā€œmoderateā€ incumbents and ā€œmore progressiveā€ upstarts. The fire for a movement further to the left was kindled by Bernie Sanders.

To me, Ocasio-Cortez will give Watters a run for her money in the leftist department.

I see the same in the GOP. Both parties are experiencing (some) backlash against the establishment leadership.

Will see how it plays out in the U.S. in Europe the open borders parties are getting obliterated each and every election. Not sure how it will play out here.

I get where this is going but Trump is a retard. A complete simpleton. He has no plan.

The start and end is trolling liberals. Thatā€™s it.

Thought the same thing mobiā€¦ Thought the same thing. All bow at the feet of King Donnie

long gone are the days when Conservatives would count each ā€œI, Me, Myselfā€ in Obamaā€™s speeches and rail about the narcissist in chief and the man child.
