I have called out Australia’s current PM many times but I don’t recall calling him trash.

Why would you? You’re chomping at the bits to have your inherent right to self-defense further restricted, not because you’re a bad person (you’re not), but because you’ve been convinced that sacrificing yours and other’s rights is somehow the correct response to this.

Obviously in a country like that, people are taught to look up to their masters. That would be a trashy place to live.

Off topic, but do y’all have legal or medicinal Cannabis yet? I heard some stories a year or so back about a mom facing legal consequences for giving her sick child cannabis oil. I’m hoping everything worked out in that area.

The same people who want to fundamentally change the way America interacts with a religion of more than a billion people can be counted on to hem, haw, and “both sides” every time the growing plague of right wing white nationalism comes to it’s inevitable conclusion.

Is there an equal number of Christian/Jewish immigrants from around the world migrating to predominantly Muslim countries, if not, why not? Do you see examples around the world where immigrants are establishing small, mirror images of the country they left behind, with in their new home? When one can look for the answer, be honest about it, removing all hate from the process and examine the answer clearly…there are serious dangers that accompany migrants from war torn Muslim countries.

Side note to the shooting
It wasn’t until reading about this shooting that i learned mosques have seperate praying rooms for women and men. They segregate the men and women during prayer! Thinking about the US, it’s baffling to think that would be considered acceptable let alone legal. Seems like from an ancient time.

Uh, you ever been to Israel? Or an orthodox Jewish temple in the US? Your feelings will be even more hurt there.

Was there something revealed recently about Tarrant’s upbringing that suggests to you this was his problem? From what I understand his father died about ten years ago from cancer. Was he a terrible parent before his death?

I wondered the same and it appears he was involved with his family. Did his tragic death when Tarrant was only 19 contribute to this, I can’t say definitively? What I can say is that there is a pattern that keeps appearing where a father was not involved or involved very little and the son goes on to become a murderer and sometimes…a mass murderer.

Australia is one if the countries I hope to visit someday before I croak. If it wasn’t so damn far from here I might even live there permanently.
