No I’m not. I’m asking you how. And asking you why you aren’t questioning them.
Did they give them a “placebo” or not?

Years ago, I remember reading an article by this psychiatrist who spent a lot of time dealing with people who had hallucinations and various neurological disorders. One day, in a small group, she just decided to run with their delusions: What are you hearing? What’s happening now? Why is the giant mechanical owl coming to eat us? How are the aliens trying to communicate?
That’s what being on this site is like, a lot.
Well, maybe you want to dive down that rabbit hole. I’d prefer reality over delusions.
WuWei:Not research. Concensus.
Consensus based on research.
Allegedly. Analysis of competing hypothesis? Done correctly?
It didn’t survive peer review.
WuWei:What did they do then? “Placebo” was your word. That’s what a placebo is - a psychological tool.
I’m not arguing the validity of science. I’m discussing your blind faith in the science dogma and lack of critical thinking.

You are arguing that decades old vaccine study protocols do not accurately describe a vaccines efficacy.
Roll back the Enlightenment, baby! It was a wrong turn.
“I’m not an anti-vax person. In fact, I said I believe they’re safe and I encourage many people to take ’em,” Rogan said during an April 2021 episode of the show, per Variety.
Comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan announced that he has contracted COVID-19.
Roll back the Enlightenment, baby! It was a wrong turn.
Pathetic.
Vaccine is the only path to enlightenment…

Joe Rogan says he's contracted coronavirus, treated it with ivermectin | Fox News
He also took Regeneron which we know is quite effective.
He took a lot of stuff… can’t say that it was the Ivermectin that helped him out… it was more likely the monoclonal antibodies that have the evidence behind it that shows that it is a good treatment.

Honestly, you can read up on how vaccine studies are done - it will be clearer and more complete than me explaining it.
But yes - one group is given a placebo.
One is given the vaccine.
They wait. And count.
In the case of these vaccines, initially against the Alpha variant, the group that received the vaccine had 90%± fewer infections than the group that got the placebo.
What a rude post…Who is forcing this content on you?
I will say this - I sure hope it helped, because that would mean one more tool int eh tool box. Current research does not indicate it does, but perhaps they will study this area of the world and we will learn differently.
Your turn - did the vaccines help beat down the virus in India?
This is your third time failing to admit that you’ve been wrong the whole time. Good luck building that fortitude. Try not to accidentally spread any more lies from TheHill in the meantime.
gooddad409:I’ve had both vaccinations and i still want some hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectine around myself just in case i do get it.
I think early treatment is much smarter than being sent home to see what happens if one does get it.
I have a niece who got the covid a couple of weeks ago. She started taking hydroxychloroquine after a day or so. Her voice returned within hours and all her congestion was gone in a couple of days.
She tested covid free yesterday.
The libs want us to toe the lib narrative no questions asked. For political reasons mostly.
I think folks do need a Covid plan.
Here, if your oxygen level is above 90 they send you home. That really isn’t a plan.
I don’t think folks have any clue on how to deal with this if it hits them or a loved one.
Maybe, that would be a great thread topic rather than just get the vax.
It would be a great thread.
The only reason to refuse to discuss it and unyieldingly advocate vaccine only is purely political imo.
SixFoot: Jezcoe:The studies on Ivermectin did not survive peer review.
That must be why India decided to use it on a massive scale the way they did.
Trust the libs instead, folks. They read books.
The preprint data looked good.
It was fraudulent though. It is based on two large studies that are frauds.
It didn’t survive peer review.
It survived India, and the Kung Flu didn’t survive it.
No point in arguing with you about it. What would you know anyway?
Vaccine is the only path to enlightenment…
There are several medications to treat one disease as not one works for all.
I’m surprised that some believe there is only one solution that works for all.
Allegedly. Analysis of competing hypothesis? Done correctly?
See, you are challenging science at every turn! Yes! Yes! A study that survives peer review is one done correctly. No! A study doesn’t analyze competing hpothesis - that would be the job of a DIFFERENT study.
Currently the studies that have been done correctly and reviewed for accuracy do not indicate IV has a positive effect on covid.
It seems to me, for some odd reason you don’t WANT to believe the results, so you are challenging the process.
He is pro vaccine and his overall excellent health was certainly a positive contributing factor.
I am again reminded that being obese is a big factor with the Wuhan flu.

I knew you couldn’t do it.
Eat some edibles* and see how fast your symptoms subside.
*Legally.
Since ivermectin is often prescribed for humans, I am going to assume I should look to another source for information about this drug.
But this wasn’t the human form of the medicine.
Again I ask, what sane person takes medicine meant for horses?
