A billionaire Walmart heiress is publicly speaking out against President Trump, breaking with the rest of the wealthy family and risking backlash for the retail empire.
Christy Walton, the widow of one of the Walmart founder’s sons, took out a full-page ad in national newspapers, calling for people to “defend against aggression by dictators” and participate in demonstrations around the country this weekend, known as the “No Kings” protests. Walton took out a similar ad at the end of March. . . .
This is probably not the first time that limousine liberals
who rely on hiring illegals, who rely on a two-tier tax system,
(one for imports one for domestic goods)
have attempted to astroturf a cause or event.
But it ha become so common,
it has become such a big part of thenarrative
that now the media (WSJ in this case) can no longer ignore it.

Calls to action doesn’t make it any less grass roots.
Boomers gathering in DC was a grassroots movement that was organized bussed in and supplied with food water etc. and afterwards cleaned up……
Walmart doesn’t hire illegals. They hire working poor, keep them part time to avoid paying benefits, and teach them how to apply for state and federal aid like food stamps and Medicaid.
How is that astroturfing?
Paid efforts to get people “protesting”.
