It is amusing you assume party affiliation and political ideology based on a desire to keep the knee jerk political party bashing out of the religion forum. For the record I was registered and voted Republican right up until President Trump was nominated as the candidate for the Republican Party, and then I became an Independent.
I did not vote for Hillary Clinton either. Trump was the worst society had to offer and Clinton was the worst our political system had to offer and Americans were sold on the lie that it had to be binary, one or the other.
