Will the real homophobe please stand up?

I suppose it’s worth pointing out that it was from 08/2020, so they weren’t in office yet. Still, I don’t think she should have done it, BUT: given Republican silence about Trump tweets, I am not gonna get worked up over it.

Mod Note

Stop calling people that name.

Disingenuous question.

Really? Do you truly, honesty believe that’s what this thread is about? I think you know that I know you don’t really believe that. Stay honest, man.

He’ll circle back to you.

I think her tweet was in bad taste. Someone in her position should not post something like that.

No, this is a huge deal. I voted for Biden so we wouldn’t have this kind of sill assed name calling. I am getting on the phone right now to call Joe Biden and tell him to fire his press secretary right now. This is uncalled for. I don’t agree with this TIT for TAT BS.

Edit:
Jesus…I am so sorry for my post. I should have known it was Nothing more than a silly gotcha thread to shed a sliver of light on the press secretary from a Tweet from August 5th 2020. She did not say this as the press secretary. While things like this should not be said when in the public eye…She certainly is not speaking for the President of the United States as it was represented in this thread. I take back everything I said above. There is no indication she is playing TIT for TAT, or in anyway has acted inappropriately as the Press Secretary.

I have to be better.

Please remember, at the time of the tweet, she was at CNN, not Biden’s campaign

She sent the Tweet while at CNN.

Same thing. CNN was part of the Biden campaign.

Was it homophobic?

Where was Greene when she did her acts?

Was Greene a Congresswoman when she ran her mouth?

I don’t think so. I don’t believe the intent of calling Graham #LadyG is to make fun of him because he is gay, but because he won’t come out as gay. Which, honestly, is also problematic but not homophobic.

Is it ok to use sexual orientation to make fun of anybody for any reason?

No, It’s not acceptable. I stated as much. Graham holds immense power as a politician and is a member of a political party that hasn’t fully embraced LGBTQ causes. If he is gay, he should be allowed to come out and represent himself however he wants. But as a politician, it’s concerning that he chooses to affiliated himself counter to his sexuality. This again assumes he is gay, which no one but Graham knows.

I thought the subject of this was The Press Secretary? Staying on Topic and all that nonsense that I get when I bring up Trump did this or said that in response to something Biden did or didn’t do or say.

I’d like to stay on the subject. Personally I am not following the Greene situation that carefully so I can’t answer…Although I don’t see what hit has to do with this situation? Maybe you can shed some light on it?

Is it homophobic to use homosexuality as a weapon against people who may or may not be homosexual?

It has to do with the excuse given for Psaki’s abhorrent behavior.

Greene is in the process of being unpersoned. Perhaps Psaki should be as well?

Unpersoned? What is that and who unpersons someone else?
