A lot of the SCC (So Called Conservatives) are really in support of Trump. Should he get booted or resign from office and Pence takes over, will you support Mike with the same fervor and loyalty you did Don Juan or will you suspect him or maybe just not exhibit support?
The question is will you treat the office of the President with more respect than you’ve shown?
No, that was actually not the question.
If Trump goes, that will mean Democrats are the majority in Congress, perhaps the Senate. If Pence doesn’t go with Trump, which I think it likely, he won’t get anywhere with Democrats running the books.
It is not about support as much as it is about respect. And I pretty much lost respect for Pence when he went along with Trump and pulled that more then stupid NFL game walkout.
No, the question is whether people will hold each person who occupies the office to the same standard. Trump supporters have proven that not to be the case.
Democrats and their media will turn on Pence just as hard and just as fast as they turned on Trump. Any conservatives who think this hysteria ends if Trump goes will have a surprise.
While it’s a given they will attack him just as fervently, I doubt he will give them anywhere near as much ammunition as Trump does.
If he shows it it will be reciprocated…
And Fox was kind to Obama…
There’s one anecdote in James Clapper’s book that helps explain my feelings. When Clapper, Comey and a few others briefed Trump, Pence and a couple others about the Russia election attack, Clapper said Pence was very astute, asking relevant questions and grasping the gravity of the situation quickly. Clapper also said Trump seemed to understand as well. If Pence becomes president, I will in many ways be more upset because he is a competent evil, where as Trump’s chaos limits him from getting things done. If Pence were president last year, we probably don’t have the PPACA anymore. However, with Pence as president, I won’t wake up every day scared to check my phone because I think we may have nuked someone overnight. I won’t question whether or not he will actually leave office when his term comes up, etc. There’s nothing that Pence can do which will permanently destroy the fabric of democracy. Everything he does can be reversed over years or a generation. There are things Trump can do which we cannot fix. In this way I would fully endorse Pence over Trump.
Before you know it they’ll be challenging his identity, claiming he’s not a Christian, that he wasn’t even born here. They’ll launch an investigation. They’ll find their nuttiest billionaire to spend millions to investigate it. It’s going to be unprecedented levels of hate.
No, Pence wouldn’t be a good president.
He’s sneaky, and goes around his boss’ back to write op-eds in the failing NYT. Fire him.
Fox News attacked Obama for wanting SPICY â– â– â– â– â– â– â– MUSTARD on his sandwich. This feigned indignation by red hatters is disgusting. Eight years of relentless, racially motivated attacks on one of the more respectable and personally morally upright people to hold the office and now they want to whine about the unfairness of attacks.
Everyone loves anonymous sources…
I predict, if Pence becomes president, he will be a lame duck president and will not run for the nomination in 2020. If he does, he will be brutalized by his own party and the “deep state”. Essentially, Pence would become a caretaker president
Was Obama kind to James Rosen?
James Rosen was the enemy of the people. Are you saying Obama should have let him go unchecked?
