I think capitalism is great like all economic systems it has its faults but it’s by far the best one available

because people think capitalism = freedom
The fault of capitalism is that it is based on freedom and when government takes your freedom they mess up the economy.
■■■ does socialism have to do with communism? Socialism is a set of policies that deal with social and economic issues. Communism is a form of government. Post Office is socialism, so is the military and roads. The police dept etc…

Capitalism is corrupted by greed same as communism is. What most non-Clinton drones on the left want is a capitalism that works to help everyone in society and as a group we ensure that greed is keep in check so people do not make profit off the suffering of others. If you are not for same thing then so sad for you.

The DSA can say whatever it wants it’s not ending capitalism in this country that’s a pipe dream and fodder for the rubes that just want to get fired up over made up boogeymen.
And not that it matters but the Soviets didn’t practice communism they were totalitarians which sold the idea of “communism” to take control.
DSA never said that, please don’t feed into the idiots false narrative. The goal that group has is really what our country is suppose to be, but right now we the people do not control our government a select few rich people do. The DSA just wants a government that caters to the working people and does not make laws to funnel money to the already rich. Not sure why so many GOP people like pay more taxes to subsidies oil companies or military contractors. I rather see it go to education or healthcare or even helping out cute little puppies.
