Like social security, medicare? Oh wait they want to gut those. But hey, triple down on that military budget because we need more kids on the GI bill while talking about how “free” education is bad.
According to some on here Australia is a communist country. We have had 25+ years of uninterrupted annual growth. Has the USA had a similar run of uninterrupted annual growth?
So much to comment on in that post so I will limit myself to a couple of points. How many die now because they don’t have access to medical health care and medicines?
What percentage of those in the medical profession were primarily attracted by the potential income?
Now that thc products are legal and the likes of Sanders and his liberal- socialist compadres are promising the “wake and bakes” free stuff, takes all the fun out of working and incentives to be successful!
anyone who is sick at any time regardless of insurance can go to any er.
health insurance is not health care.
as for the other… how many would have chosen something else if the opportunities in health care were not well paying? I have little doubt there is a certain altruism involved, but there are other easier avenues to satisfy that.
you must be confused. I received the GI bill, and I accepted 2 years of lower pay to pay for it. not sure if they still do that, but even if not, it is not “free education”, it is a part of your employment contract.
Hardly. Considering the government produces nothing, they didn’t actually pay for it. Taxpayers did. So, yes, it was just as “free” as the taxpayer funded education you guys like to bitch about would be. How many other employers have the taxpayers cover their employees’ benefits, besides Walmart? “We” can’t afford one, but the other is absolutely fine. Go figure.
great! next time soldiers pay with their lives to protect you, be sure to let them know they’re contribution to the nation is no better than a welfare recipients.
