Does the site go into some sort of maintenance mode pretty much every night?
I would presume it is a daily backup. The outage is around 3.00 pm to 3.15 pm my time.

Not sure. Could be maintenance on the server.
I get it pretty much every night sometimes lasting a half hour or more. Usually after 1:00-1:30am CT.

It is generally in read mode daily from 3 am (New York time) for about 15 minutes. I would say it has to do with backing up the forum.

I’m sure the maintenance window is typically after midnight eastern time.
@GWH I can check it out at 3 pm my time which is 3 am New York time on Thursday and I will let you know. Would you like me to check it out?
At Midnight Pacific time it goes through this.
Daily backup.
Daily cache clearing.
Window of least amount of traffic.
Huge CPU load.

You can. I’d say it’s pretty much a given that the system is doing maintenance during that time frame.

Didn’t get a chance to test it today; will try on Friday.
I just assumed plasma broke the page.
It does happen in the middle of the day frequently.
Which happens to fall smack in the middle of one of my biggest use windows. 
One of the downsides to being a night owl living on the edge of Earf.
