Why are there STILL riots in Minnesota?

Resisting arrest is a crime - a crime this woman was never - and could never - be convicted of.

Why should she face the consequences of a crime that legally, she did not commit?

So now our police officers need to know this in advance?

Should she have a bar code somewhere they should scan?

Nope. You posed the question and changed the parameters when you didn’t like the answer.

Nope… you have trouble following simple conversations.

Where is the law that says a cop can break an old woman arm? Regardless of her mental state?

Yeah. She was just walking.

No one from Walmart or any store for that matter should report a crime.

Is that what you want?

Yes, they absolutely need to know in advance not to break the arms of visibly confused old ladies.

Or shoot to death lawful vendors of bbq.

Or choke a man out over a loosie.

Or gun thirteen year olds down after they have put their hands into the air.

Or murder fellow first responders in their beds because of bad CIs.

Or broomstick rape restrained detainees into submission.

Where is it that they knew in advance her arm would break and did it intentionally?

Hubby says that all the time about his car. lol

Okay. How do they know the difference between that and drug induced confused?

Again… now you are pointing out poor training. Claiming a cop doesn’t know what is excessive vs appropriate force.

How do you know the cop didn’t know?

You should maybe not take refuge in ‘the law’ you do not understand.

The police officer doesn’t have to intend physical harm else he cannot be culpable for negligent harm.

The officer of the law did not have to know either, to assess his next step with regard to a frail, confused old woman who had already surrendered the merchandise.

If you choose to worship at the altar of the Law, it helps to understand it, and how it works.

There is no crime that this woman could be charged with.

Well do you expect the cops to know the law?

Do you expect the cops to know what excessive force is?

:rofl::rofl:

From my experience, cops know the Law slightly less than the average American does.

Which is to say, not much.

That kid they claimed was a school shooter and shot a cop before the cops killed him, turns out that’s a lie. The cop shot himself accidentally.

Banner week for the boys in blue.

Which city?

Knoxville.

Okay, found it. Three of the four cops now under internal review.

What is really funny is about everyone in this thread clutching their pearls over cops ruffing someone up. And no I don’t think that shoplifters and such should be roughed up by the cops. Were the same people who cheered unmasked people getting tasered and roughed up by the cops for refusing to put on a face diaper.
