Why are School Board members allowed to molest the minds of impressionable grade school children?

The Lovely Bones was one of the challenged books.

Tell me how that is porn.

Might want to take a good look at the stats on that one.

Yep. Even those who do not personally engage in sexual behavior with children are like the Ghislaine Maxwell of public schools… grooming the victims for someone else.

Deflection noted.

Yes they are and that is just the tip of the iceberg of what they do to children.

Dearborn has evolved into a large Muslim and Chaldean community. Neither will put up with this…promise and will be quite passionate, direct and continuous in their rejection.

Dearborn? But isn’t pornography illegal under Shari’a Law?

And everone is wondering what happened to the red wave

Nope…he brought it up.

Is the parent in the following video talking about “Lovely Bones”?

graphic content warning for following video

The irrefutable fact is, pornographic material is being made available to innocent and impressionable grade school children in public schools, and those responsible for its dissemination are engaging in a criminal offense. See, e.g., Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the Second Degree

It’s time to start charging those responsible for introducing pornographic materials to grade school children with the criminal activity they are engaged in.

It is not a “humanitarian crisis” at our southern border. It is an outright invasion of the United States, intentionally orchestrated and perpetuated by the leadership of our tyrannical federal government which includes traitorous, judges, legislators, and our current president of the United States.

That’s from the OP. So was this question addressed anywhere?

No.

You also ought to put a graphic content warning on that video.

In my district, these folks went after the 57 Bus when Lawn Boy and Gender Queer would have made more “attractive” targets.

I couldn’t figure out why they did that.

“The Lovely Bones” is on the list of books that they oppose as per the article that you provided.

I have this suspicion that there is simply a list of books that some are told that they should be upset about and instead of going through the process of formally objecting to a book they want to make a spectacle because it gives them importance to feed their rage.

If we are going to keep all literature that contains sexual or graphic content away from those who are 15 and younger… then that eliminates quite a bit of what we consider to be canon in literature and bunch of contemporary work.

No…they do this because the books are a stepping stone.

This is a part of a well conceived and well executed plan.

It is old school culture war stuff with the added benefit of translating a modern day Satanic panic to school librarians and teachers who are simply doing their jobs.

Are we collectively dumb enough to let something like the Little Rascals Daycare abuse trial happen again?

And this- a very similar case, which had a trial lasting 7 years. McMartin preschool trial - Wikipedia

So strange- in both of these cases, children alleged that they were abused in hot air balloons. Wouldn’t townspeople have noticed?

Literature as abuse is a strange argument.

Was I abused at 15 when I had to read Oedopus Rex? King Lear has a whole section on the evils of female genitalia. Is Othello CRT? Moby Dick is full of inappropriate jokes. Should children be shielded from that?

The Song of Solomon has a verse about oral sex.
2 Samuel 16:21 recounts Absalom’s sex out in the open with David’s concubines in an open air tent pitched on the roof of Jerusalem’s walls.
Psalm 137:9 reads Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock! I guess since it was talking about Babylon, that made this all right?
Elsewhere they talk about slaughtering everyone in a battle, and pregnant women having their wombs ripped open.

Does the presence of this material diminish the lessons to be found in the Bible?
