Who's Setting The Agenda For The Democratic Party?

Who is mentoring them? Out of those 4, who is senior?

Vastly outnumbered and not willing to do what it takes.

I won’t argue with you that she a likely future move maker. I just don’t see her as having any much influence yet. If the Democrats power lies in the house then its still Pelosi calling the shots

Right now it’s BLM, AOC, Ilhan Omar. Who are the Democrats that we hear from? You could also make a case for those who are protesting and rioting and tearing down and burning statues and the flag.

Is she senior?

Where were the worst riots?

I don’t think AOC is the prime mover in that bunch.

I would watch Pramila Jayapal. She’s the big sister.

The 4 of them together…

I want to know who they’re listening to.

I was watching a video with Eric Weinstein, Jonathan Haidt and a few others over two years ago with a few others, and one of them said something interesting I thought that labels like Republican, Democrat, Conservatives and Liberal no longer mean as much now the real battle of culture and society is between authoritarian versus libertarian.

In fairness, I’ve heard many on the far left say that socialists aren’t modern liberals but are leftists. I believe with the exception of Pressley that the squad are all democratic socialists… they’re also anti-authoritarian, but good luck convincing people who think traffic lights are authoritarian otherwise.

Wait, so the Squad aren’t the monster at the end of the book? There’s a group above them? Who?

I thought you said money men weren’t the ones with the power

AOC and Goya beans.

It’s the truth. Conservatives, liberals, Republicans, Democrats, and a whole host of everything in between is on one side of the equation. Trumpism is on the other. This is not a realignment. It’s not some super secret grand plan. It’s very, very basic. There is no man behind the curtain.

It’s believers in the rule of law versus Trumpism.

It’s believers in expecting morality and integrity in our elected officials versus Trumpism.

It’s believers in ethics versus Trumpism.

It’s people who expect our government to use their resources to protect the lives of the public versus Trumpism.

It’s those opposed to cronyism versus Trumpism.

It’s people who believe in the Constitution versus Trumpism.

It’s people who believe the United States should be the leader of the free world versus Trumpism.

It’s people who believe in the Western Alliance versus Trumpism.

It’s people opposed to Russia and China and their objective of expansive power versus Trumpism.

It’s people who believe in truth versus Trumpism.

It’s not hatred. It’s cold hard facts. Take the blinder off of your right eye and you’ll see. It’s America or Trump. That’s the choice. Stand for a nation or stand for a man. This is what will be decided in November.

I don’t believe that’s what you really want. Constitutional Conservatives are aligning with Democrats to rid the nation of the man you offer full throated support towards. A man who is arguably one of the single most authoritarians to ever hold the Presidency.

Look at the Lincoln Project, Republicans Voters Against Trump, Republicans for the Rule Of Law, VoteVets, etc. These groups are filled with Constitutional Conservatives who are opposing Trump and siding with the left to remove him from office because they oppose his authoritarianism. If what you said was true, you’d be standing with them and with us against Trump. Yet you aren’t. You remain one of the biggest cheerleaders he has. So your claims ring exceptionally hollow.

Oh, oh…AOC may have just alienated the Hispanic community and pushed them towards Trump?

Probably big pharma, big agra, big oil, big war, big insurance, big bank. Same for both parties.

The key isn’t a person, it’s control of the senate. The dems will use the same trick the r.s used.

Budget reconciliation.

I’ll bite. Where? Atlanta maybe?

It is hilarious. People giving AOC power and influence she doesn’t have over the Amazon thing when it was the mishandling of the deal by DiBlasio and Cuomo. People didn’t like that it was for real a back room deal done in secret without any public or local input and when people started to simply question how it would work Amazon pulled out… because they didn’t want to answer those questions.

Amazon has still expanded in NYC without the huge tax breaks that they were going to get.

And somehow this is seen as a failure of “liberals” instead of a failure of corporate cronyism.
